Mother Eliswa, foundress of the Congregation of Teresian Carmelities lived and died in 19th Century in the odour of sancity. She is the pioneer of opening convent schools for girls, especially at the time when women were kept aloof from the social and cultural status of the society. It is praise worthy that she grew to be a courageous woman who fought of the rights of women. CTC has a very humble origin like the tiny grain of mustard seed of the Gospel. The blossoms of education, guides every individual as a stepping stone to their success.s
